Calaveras County Historical Society is continuing in its mission to
preserve, chronicle and display the rich history of our county. Your
participation and support is invaluable to the organization. Members
also receive 10% off at our book store.
Please
join us for the July 1-June 30 fiscal year
by contributing your $22 annual membership dues. We also offer a lifetime
membership of $440 (available only to individuals, not corporations).
Your membership includes admission to both the Downtown Museum and the Red Barn museum, as well as a subscription to the quarterly publication,
Las Calaveras filled with great and informative stories of the history and people of Calaveras County. Informative dinner meetings
are held on the fourth Thursday of every month at a variety of locations throughout the county. Members are encouraged to attend and the public is always
