Barn Museum
The
Red Barn is the former dairy barn of the old County Hospital and stands
proudly as a dominant landmark along Mountain Ranch Road. The Red Barn
Museum showcases Calaveras County’s rich history in agriculture,
mining, logging, and ranching. Actual mining carts, farm wagons, and
other donated objects make up the elaborate displays. Many of the displays
were made possible through the help and donations of community members
and local businesses. We thank everyone involved for their continued support.
